Position SummaryConcordia University Wisconsin is looking for a part-time Pediatric Clinical Coordinator for the Physical Therapy program.
This individual will be responsible for managing and coordinating pediatric physical therapy services in the Concordia University Wisconsin Interprofessional Rehabilitation Clinic on the CUW campus and LUMIN school locations.
The job duties for this position include coordinating student experiences in the clinic, scheduling of clients/services, and marketing to community or clinics.
The Clinic Coordinator will provide clinical educational opportunities for students of physical therapy in several on-campus Community Clinic courses.
The Physical Therapy Clinical Coordinator will also assist the DPT program in assigned roles which may include guest lecturing or participating as a lab assistant in Pediatric related courses.
The Clinical Coordinator performs other job-related duties and special projects as assigned by the Clinic Supervisor or Physical Therapy Department Chair including seeing pediatric physical therapy clients in a pro-bono clinic setting, performing wellness screens for the pediatric population, and establishing exercise programs for the pediatric population in the LUMIN School system.
This position reports to the Director of the Physical Therapy Program and the Dean of the School of Health Profession at the Mequon, WI campus.
The individual will work closely with the clinic supervisor, other physical therapy staff, physical therapy faculty and an interdisciplinary team in the campus clinic.

Job Duties & Responsibilities Participate as a lab assistant in DPT 580 - Management of Pediatric Disorders Coordinate with DPT Faculty to integrate didactic coursework with observation or participation in on campus pro-bono clinic or LUMIN School experiences Recruit and coordinate pediatric clients for entry-level DPT classes in Fall, Spring and Summer terms Serve as Clinical Instructor to DPT students during participation in CUW Pediatric clinical experiences Collaborate with CUW Pro-bono Clinic Supervisor to order supplies Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to implement interventions at LUMIN School system Develop and promote partnerships with administration and staff in LUMIN School system Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Excellent communication skills - written and oral Ability to teach using a variety of methods to reach a broad spectrum of learners Ability to provide professional, constructive feedback to students to promote performance and growth Ability to authentically integrate Christian faith with teaching and learning Ability to collaborate with faculty in various healthcare disciplines within the School of Health Professions, the campus at large, and within the community Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and organize work in a busy university and community clinic setting Ability to demonstrate ingenuity and prompt action in resolving problems Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written and verbal instructions Ability to maintain strict confidentiality Ability to operate office technology and personal computer with related applications efficiently Maintain a positive, service-oriented attitude with Department Chair, all faculty, and students Independently evaluate and treat a diverse outpatient pediatric caseload Supportive of the mission and values of Concordia University Wisconsin/Ann Arbor and the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS) Education & Experience Current Wisconsin licensure as a physical therapist Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, or entry-level physical therapy degree (BSPT or MPT) required; advanced ABPTS certification in Pediatrics (PCS ) is preferred Previous teaching experience in clinical setting and/or university setting is preferred Clinical experience working with pediatric disorders > 3 years is preferred Experience with interdisciplinary collaboration Physical Demands/Equipment (Click to View)Compensation & BenefitsThis is a part-time, non-exempt (hourly) staff position with a maximum of 19.
5 hours a week.
Starting wage may be determined upon education and/or experience.
Tuition benefits are available for employees; however, there are no other benefits associated with this position.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
