Your OpportunityStantec's Environmental Services practice seeks a Senior Project Manager to provide project management, environmental regulatory and permitting services with a focus on renewable energy clients in the Upper Midwest.
Your Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management responsibilities include:
Marketing and business development Developing project proposals Managing projects and budgets Coordinating with project clients, stakeholders, and internal project staff Performing and overseeing technical work Environmental, regulatory and permitting responsibilities include:
Identifying project-specific environmental design and regulatory requirements Coordinating with resource agency personnel Writing and reviewing technical reports Environmental permit applications Presenting at public meetings Facilitating successful environmental permitting of multiple and varied projects Additional responsibilities may include coordinating, conducting, and/or leading field work Your Capabilities and Credentials Experience managing environmental compliance projects in the renewable energy sector Experience with local, state and federal environmental regulations and permitting in the Upper Midwest Willingness and ability to travel Strong work ethic, high ethical standards and a desire for team success Strong written and verbal communications skills Project management experience Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in the natural sciences, environmental science, or related field; Master's preferredMinimum 10 years of progressively responsible experience with technical specialization and expertise in the environmental compliance, natural resource assessments and studies, and permitting.
Project and task management experience is required.
This position will be in a typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
